All Saints Services, Meetings, and Events Suspended

The increasing severity of the Coronavirus outbreak has forced us to consider the wisdom of inviting parishioners to gather together when the dangers of infection are so apparent. Due to our ongoing desire to tend to the physical and spiritual wellness of the All Saints community, all services, meetings, and events are suspended until further notice. The Parish School has also suspended operation. The church office will maintain regular business hours for the time being. We are monitoring the situation and will make changes should they become necessary.

To our knowledge, no one in our congregation has tested positive for COVID-19. This action is being taken purely as a preventative measure to reduce the risk of spreading infection in our community.

Spiritual Resources

To support you in your spiritual life during this time of heightened anxiety, we have created a “Pray Online” menu at the top of this page with links to online resources for Daily Devotions, the Daily Office, Scripture Study & Meditation, Centering Prayer, audio recordings of All Saints’ sermons, video recordings of All Saints’ worship services, and links to webcasts of the latest worship services from Washington National Cathedral and Trinity Wall Street. We hope these resources will help you find comfort in spiritual practice during this time that we are not able to gather physically in community.

Pastoral Care Update

All Saints wants to know if you are sick or in need of assistance. You can contact the church any time by emailing the office or by calling (805) 969-4771. If you have a pastoral emergency and need to reach a priest outside of business hours, please call the church office and follow the prompts to reach a member of our clergy. A clergyperson is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

If you are sick or in the hospital, please let the church office know. Hospitals are not permitted to inform us of a patent’s presence in the hospital, but you can contact the church to keep our clergy aware of your situation.

If you need any assistance in making preparations (shopping for supplies, stocking up on groceries, etc.), please contact the church office and we will connect you with someone to assist you.

Keeping God’s People Safe

During this outbreak, we ask everyone to be considerate of their own health, and the health of those around them. The best ways to limit the spread of infection are:
  • Wash your hands thoroughly and often throughout the day.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, especially with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Stay home if you are sick
  • Cover all coughs and sneezes, then immediately wash your hands.
At this time the CDC advise all people who are at higher risk of serious sickness from COVID-19 (including adults over 60 and those with preexisting medical conditions) to take the following precautions:
  • Stock up on supplies.
  • Take everyday precautions to keep space between yourself and others.
  • When you go out in public, keep away from others who are sick, limit close contact and wash your hands often.
  • Avoid crowds as much as possible.
  • Avoid cruise travel and non-essential air travel.
  • If there is a COVID-19 outbreak in your community, stay home as much as possible to further reduce your risk of being exposed.
