In 2004, All Saints-by-the-Sea teamed up with the James S. Bower Foundation to produce the first Jim Bower Community Outreach Golf Tournament to raise money for the All Saints Outreach Committee’s programs. Since then, the tournament was held every May and continues to be the primary source of funds for the Outreach Committee, raising tens of thousands of dollars every year. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised go to non-profit organizations and charitable causes selected by the Outreach Committee.
Mark your calendar for Sunday, September 13, 2026 for the 20th Annual James S. Bower Golf Tournament at the beautiful Glen Annie Golf Club.
This year, we’ve chosen an autumn date to encourage even broader community participation as we celebrate the 20th year of our marquee fundraiser for Outreach. Over the past two decades, this tournament in partnership with the foundation has raised more than $1 million in support of Outreach’s mission, a milestone worth celebrating together.
We look forward to strong participation from across Santa Barbara, including friends from Westmont College and our neighbors at the Miramar. If you’ve played in the past, we encourage you to reconnect with your former foursome and join us again this year for the 20th year celebration.
If you’re unable to join the golf, all are invited and encouraged to come to the festive Mexican dinner which follows. The dinner is a great way for the parish to come together. There will be a silent auction.
