Parish School Closure

Dear All Saints by-the-Sea Parish School Families,

After careful discernment and consultation, All Saints by-the-Sea Parish School will be closed from Monday, March 16 through April 3.  We plan to resume school on Monday, April 6; however, we will be in communication with Public Health officials and will extend the closure, if necessary.

We made this decision in communication with Early Childhood Licensing, the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles, our All Saints by-the-Sea Parish School Rector, The Rev. Aimee Eyer-Delevett, our School Board and Anthony Ranii,  Superintendent at Montecito Union School.  We do not take this decision lightly, and we know that many of you depend upon the Parish School so that you can work without disruption.  We are sorry for the inconvenience this might cause you.  However, as a Christian school, we are called to care for the most vulnerable among us.  We believe that closing the school now will help safeguard the well-being of those in our city most vulnerable to significant complications from COVID-19.

Montecito Union School has also announced that they will be closing as of Monday, March 16 through April 3.

In the coming days, we will solidify a plan for tuition reimbursement.  Once we have done this and received approval from the Parish School Board and All Saints’ Vestry, we will communicate the details with you.

Please know the staff and I hold the well-being of your children and families in highest priority.

Most sincerely,

Padric Davis
Parish School Director
