Mother’s Day Celebrated at Transition House

Seventeen mothers and two single fathers living at the Transition House shelter for homeless families
on Mother’s Day were celebrated after the All Saints dinner. Each mother received a rose and a gift bag containing toiletries, chocolates, scarves, costume jewelry, and a $35 gift card to Ross. The fathers received toiletries, chocolates and a $35 gift card to Ross.

Thirty parishioners donated money and gifts and organized the effort. Thank you to all who cared and acted to show God’s love for those among “the least” in our Santa Barbara community.
