How to Participate: Sign up on the patio on Sunday 9/20 after both services. If you can’t participate, food and monetary donations are always welcome.

Why it Matters –
Transition House is the only homelessness organization in Santa Barbara that exclusively serves families with children. In addition to providing shelter, it offers training in life skills critical to achieving self-sufficiency and breaking the spiral of poverty.
Volunteer Opportunity – Immigrant Hope – Wednesday evenings 6-8 pm, 935 San Andreas Street
Immigrant Hope helps qualified local residents attain U.S. citizenship through the legal process. Help participants practice and prepare for their final citizenship tests.

Golf Tournament – A great time was had by all at the James Bower Golf Tournament for Community Outreach on September 13. Cool weather prevailed, and people were able to enjoy the golf, silent auction, raffles and festive awards dinner. Many thanks to all the many volunteers (led by Laura Montgomery, with assistance from Steve Breihan) who worked so hard to make the event fun and memorable
