All Saints-by-the-Sea 2014 Christmas Card Announced

(oil on wood panel)We are pleased to announce the winning artwork, chosen by the parishioners of All Saints-by-the-Sea, for the 2014 All Saints Christmas Card is an oil painting of an All Saints ornament on a Christmas tree by parishioner, Denis Pariseau. Congratulations, Denis! 

Inspired by the national Episcopal Church’s Christmas Card contest, All Saints-by-the-Sea invited parishioners to submit original artwork to appear on an All Saints’ card. Seven parishioners submitted artwork and the entire parish had an opportunity to cast their votes for their favorite image. Voting was open from October 14 through November 5. Cast your vote for the original artwork you would like to see on this year’s All Saints’ Christmas Card. Voting will be open through November 5. All entries were kept anonymous throughout the voting period.  

Pariseau’s painting will be printed on All Saints’ Christmas Card and cards will be available for purchase. Look for more details on purchasing cards in the coming week. Questions? Contact the Church Office at (805) 969-4771.

The coming of Jesus. all the animals are bundled up in Christmas clothing around one tree that supports all. The deer is eating the bark, the squirrel has the nuts and berries, the raccoon has shelter, there is a nest for eggs, a perch for an owl, fruit for the dove, and two hole for a mole and a mouse.
