Summer Trip to the Solvang Festival Theater Planned

solvang festival theaterAll Saints has planned a theater evening for Saturday, August 13 to see the Pacific Conservatory Theater’s performance of Sense and Sensibility at the Solvang Festival Theater. The beloved story, set in late-1700’s England, follows the Dashwood daughters Elinor and Marianne who are both looking for love. With just the right mix of humor, romance, and happy endings, the classic novel comes to life on stage in this new adaptation of Jane Austen’s popular work. Round trip transportation by van has been arranged so plan to depart All Saints-by-the-Sea at 5:15 p.m. We will picnic before the performance at a reserved location outside the theater so bring a picnic and your beverage of choice (wine, beer, sodas, etc.). For a little pre-picnic happy hour, please bring a small appetizer and beverage to share as well. All saints will provide paper goods. Beverages are permissible during the performance, but all beverages must be contained in plastic for the theater. We will arrive back at All Saints between 11:00-11:30 p.m. Please sign up for the evening at the Information Table and submit a reservation form to the office, attention Rev. Vicki. The cost of the evening is $55.00 per person and payment can be made by check to All Saints-by-the-Sea or by credit card. Reservations are limited and must be made by July 30, and tickets are non-refundable.  Contact the office with questions: 969-4771
