Approximately 45 parishioners volunteer as ushers for the services. There are typically at least four ushers, all wearing carnations and nametags, at each service. The ushers’ duties include greeting and distributing the service bulletin, seating late parishioners, counting all who are in attendance or engaged in the service, collecting and securing the offering, and letting the clergy know if communion needs to be provided to a parishioner in place.
