Sunday, April 10th, come and view the art by Margaret Stivers that’s currently hanging in the church office! The Office will be open between services and after the 10 a.m. service to view – and purchase – this beautiful artwork.
Margaret Stivers, daughter of Father Don and Flo Stivers, received her B.A. of Arts and March (Master’s of Architecture) from Clemson University. She was awarded the highest honor at the graduate level with the Alpha Rho Chi medal. She subsequently became a licensed architect. But life often has many turns. This is true for Margaret. She discovered a love of flying and detoured into aviation. For over 20 years, she performed aerial stunts on the wings of a Stearman biplane with the Silver Wings Wingwalking Team. She developed into one of the most experienced and prominent stunt wingwalkers world wide performing in front of millions of people. In 2013, she and her husband Harley Forstad, retired the team from airshows. More information and online gallery can be found at www.whitelightart.com
