All Saints Teams Up With Westmont For Church Fair

For the third year, All Saints participated in the annual Westmont Church Fair in August. All Saints has a long and fruitful relationship with Westmont, touching many areas of our ministry including formation and music. Each year, Westmont freshmen head to the Church Fair to learn about the vast worship opportunities throughout the Santa Barbara community. And despite the scorching temperatures on Carr Field, students came out in droves to learn about what makes All Saints-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church such an amazing place to worship and grow in faith. On hand to share the All Saints’ love was Head Acolyte, Youth Group Leader and Westmont Senior Megan Fuller, Vestry Member and Sunday School Teacher Alex Williams, and Director of Administration Kathleen Winters. Armed with printed information about the Episcopal Church (history, Creeds, Five Marks of Mission), Worship at All Saints (Clergy bios, worship times & directions, Eventide worship, ministries), great giveaways including “got liturgy?” stadium cups and Eventide magnets and their love of All Saints, Megan, Alex and Kathleen greeted and welcomed dozens of Westmont students to our All Saints community. The day was a great success – including a new Choir recruit! A very warm welcome to our Westmont students!
