All Saints Dinners at Transition House Resume
Sunday, August 8 from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
After a 17-month break due to the pandemic, volunteers from All Saints can once again prepare and serve dinners in the Transition House shelter for members of homeless families temporarily living there.
The following protocols will be in effect to protect the health of volunteers, staff and residents:
- Volunteers who enter the shelter are required to be vaccinated.
- Volunteers will wear masks when entering and leaving the shelter, but are not required to wear masks while working in the kitchen.
- Staff members who interact with volunteers will all have been vaccinated.
- Volunteers will not be in the dining room except to use the restroom and will not interact with residents, as not all families have been vaccinated.
- Prepared food will be plated and placed on the pass-through counter to the dining room to be transported by staff members to residents in their rooms.
Volunteers needed!
We need your participation to bring this important hands-on outreach ministry back after the long break. This vital ministry embodies doing the work of the Lord to feed the hungry and homeless. Please
sign up online or in the notebook available on the patio after services.
You can help by donating food, money to buy food, or by giving your time and energy from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 8 at the shelter (located at 434 E. Ortega St., Santa Barbara).
