The Santa Barbara County Office of Emergency Management has issued an Evacuation Order effective 8 p.m. Friday night. All Saints’ campus is closed during this Evacuation Order. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR SATURDAY’S 5 P.M WORSHIP SERVICE? If the Evacuation Order is lifted by 1 p.m. on Saturday, All Saints will hold our 5 p.m. Saturday service on February 2. If the Evacuation Order is not lifted by 1 pm. on Saturday, we will not hold the Saturday service. There are numerous ministers and staff members who coordinate the many logistics required to carry out each worship service. If we are able to access our campus by 1 p.m. we will be able to mobilize and carry out our ministries in time. WHAT ABOUT SUNDAY’S SERVICES? Based on discussions with emergency managers, we believe we will have Sunday services this Sunday at the new worship times: 7:45 a.m., 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. We will send further emails as required to keep you informed. If you are in the affected areas, please adhere to all orders to keep yourself and our community safe. You can find more information about the evacuation and storm readiness at this link. Follow this link for an interactive map of areas in Debris Flow Risk Area affected by the Evacuation Order. While All Saints is not in an evacuation zone, we are situated between the two evacuations zones. Our location poses two significant risks to people should a debris flow take place. First, driving through the evacuations zones poses risk of cars getting swept up in the debris flow. Second, should debris flow occur, people on campus face significant risk of being trapped if roads flood. We, therefore, close our campus to keep parishioners, staff and the general public safe. |
