Music & Choir

For many years, the music program at All Saints-by-the-Sea has enjoyed a reputation for excellence and innovation. The primary mission of our music ministry is to lead the All Saints community in worship that glorifies God, touches the heart, and challenges the mind.

Each weekend from September through June the All Saints Choir leads musical worship during services through chant, hymn, and song. The choir is made up of volunteers from the parish, as well as a core of professional singers who support the choir in learning and performing music.

We seek to offer the fullest praise to God through a wide range of musical styles. Selections include traditional English cathedral standards, folk and bluegrass arrangements of well-known hymns, contemporary choral anthems, classical and early music, and more. In addition, throughout the year guest musicians are invited to supplement the choir during services and other special events. In so doing, we are able to enhance the worship experience through a great variety of musical genres.

All are welcome to sing in the choir! The choir rehearses on Thursday evenings and sings on Sunday services; no previous experience or musical knowledge is required to join.
