All parishioners are invited to a drop-in pancake supper on Tuesday, March 4. Shrove Tuesday is traditionally celebrated as a day to use up rich, fatty ingredients before the fasting season of Lent: with eggs, milk and sugar to use up, pancakes were a popular dish to make.
Volunteers will be serving up pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausages from 6 to 8p.m. in the Parish Hall, please drop by and mark the end of Epiphany before we start Lent with Ash Wednesday the following day. A donation of $5 per person ($15 max for families) is suggested.
Please note that there will be no supper on Ash Wednesday, March 5.
