On Sunday, Sept. 14 All Saints celebrated Homecoming Sunday! It was a beautiful day in the parish as we welcomed back all of our families, including the children headed off to Sunday School. A wonderful brunch after both the 8 and 10 a.m. services included a presentation to our outgoing Interim Rector, the Rev. Bob Honeychurch. Check out the video below that captures photos of Father Bob over his two years of ministry with us. During the 10 a.m. service, we consecrated and welcomed back our beloved Sunday School teachers. We entrust our children and their weekly Christian formation to these amazing parishioners: we so appreciate our instructors.
In addition, All Saints’ generations-old choral tradition marked its continuing presence as our newly organized choir returned after summer hiatus.
Leading the musical worship on Homecoming Sunday were not only some 20 Choral Scholar students from nearby Westmont College, several returning members from our congregation and a number of parents and children from our parish Family Feast worship community also joined in.
