Marni McGee to Guest Preach Sunday, October 12

All Saints-by-the-Sea is pleased to welcome Marni McGee next Sunday, October 12, as the first of two guest preachers during the month of October. She will preach at both the 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. services. Please join us in welcoming Marni to the pulpit on Sunday!

Born in New Orleans, Marni grew up in Charlotte, NC. She earned a masters at Yale Divinity School. Her 21 books for children have been published in more than a dozen countries and languages. They include picture books, poetry, a middle-grade novel, and three volumes of history published by Oxford University Press and National Geographic. A member of All Saints since 1976, she was the author/editor of the Hundred-Year History of All Saints. In 2007, she founded the StoryFaire Literacy Program, sponsoring author visits to lower-income schools and a festival at De la Guerra Plaza.
