M-4 Turkey Drive Donates More Than 670 Frozen Turkeys/Chickens to County Families

The 2014 M-4 Turkey Drive, a joint effort of All Saints-by-the-Sea, El Montecito Presbyterian, Montecito Covenant, and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Churches was another great success this year. This was All Saints first year participating in this M-4 effort (the drive only being in its second year) and together with ElMo and Covenant, we gathered 115 frozen turkeys/chickens and approximately $1,625 that were donated to the FoodBank of Santa Barbara County. Our Lady of Mt. Carmel’s efforts resulted in 558 frozen turkeys/chickens and approximately $7,650 that were donated to Catholic Charities. This enormous effort relieves a tremendous amount of pressure from FoodBank this year, which supports Catholic Charities.
