It’s been a number of weeks since we learned that construction bids for the Sanctuary Preservation and Readiness Project came in severely over our budget. We’ve worked hard to find significant ways to reduce the scope of the project and quantify the available savings. We are confident that we are headed toward balancing construction costs and available funds.

We need more ushers, greeters, readers, prayer leaders, Altar Guild members (who prepare the altar before worship), Lay Eucharistic Ministers (who help give communion), coffee hour hosts and people to help at the information table. People of all ages can serve as ministers of worship!

All Saints’ Annual Meeting is planned for Sunday, April 22. As in previous years, we will have one combined worship service, at 9:00 a.m. to accommodate the annual meeting.

Those of us at All Saints know quite well what it is like for our community to be hit with devastation. As we move forward from the Thomas fires, debris flows, and evacuations, we would like to send messages of hope to others who are in crisis because we know what it feels like to be remembered and encouraged. On April 14 we will be sponsoring two opportunities to “pay it forward.”
