Frozen Turkey Drive Will Benefit the Food Bank of Santa Barbara

The M-4 Churches are having a Turkey and Chicken Drive to benefit the FoodBank of Santa Barbara County. This is the first year All Saints has participated in this turkey drive. All Saints’ parish goal is to collect 200 frozen turkeys and/or chickens to feed the needy families in our community this Thanksgiving. We have a far way to go to meet this goal and will need everyone’s help.  Please help us reach our goal and make someone’s Thanksgiving truly memorable.

Donating could not be easier. On Sunday, November 16 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. a collection box will be set up in the Our Lady of Mount Carmel School parking lot. All you have to do is drop your frozen poultry off in the collection box – you don’t even have to get out of your car if you don’t want to. Someone will be on site to assist in collecting the frozen poultry.

All Saints has a lofty goal of collecting 200 frozen birds during our first year participating in the drive. So that we’ll know how many turkeys and chickens to expect, please sign up immediately. Forms are available by clicking here. They will also be at the Information Table on the patio and at the Church Office.

We are also grateful for financial donations: please note “M-4 Turkey Drive” in the memo. Questions? Contact the Church Office.

Let’s make this a Thanksgiving to remember for those needy families in our community.
