Music has long been at the heart of worship at All Saints.

Rooted in the rich choral tradition of the Episcopal Church, our music program offers carefully prepared, beautifully rendered music as an act of devotion, a deepening of liturgy, and an open invitation to encounter the sacred. At the center of our program is the All Saints Parish Choir, supported by our magnificent custom Johannus Monarke organ.

All Saints enjoys a reputation for being a hub of musical activity in our community, providing rehearsal and performance space for various groups, including The Adelfos Ensemble, the Santa Barbara Symphony Chorus, and The Music Academy of the West, and others.

We are blessed to be a part of a musically rich and active community and frequently invite guest musicians for special services.

The All Saints Parish Choir

The All Saints Parish Choir is a vibrant community of choral musicians united by a shared love of musical worship and a commitment to enriching the life of our congregation through song. Each Sunday from September through May, the choir leads music for Choral Eucharist at 10:00 am, offering music that illuminates the liturgy, challenges the mind, and uplifts the spirit.

Our ensemble of 20–25 singers spans a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels, supported by a core of professional section leaders who anchor and inspire the group. Together, we rehearse every Thursday evening at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall, preparing a rich and varied repertoire of psalms, hymns, canticles, and choral anthems drawn from across musical styles and periods.

Beyond the music itself, the choir is a warm community of people from all walks of life, united in purpose. We hold ourselves to a high musical standard while fostering an atmosphere that is welcoming and joyful. Whether you are an experienced choral singer or simply someone who loves to sing and wishes to grow, you will find a genuine home here.

High School Choral Scholars & Junior Choristers

A thriving music program in the Episcopal tradition requires a whole ecosystem of musical and spiritual formation. At All Saints, we are committed to perpetuating our rich choral heritage by investing in the next generation of church musicians.

High School Choral Scholars
Each year, two outstanding high school vocalists from the greater Santa Barbara community are selected to serve as Choral Scholars. Participating as full members of the choir, Scholars have the opportunity to shadow our professional section leaders, learning the craft and calling of church musicianship in the Episcopal tradition. They are featured as soloists, take on leadership roles within the ensemble, and are held to a high musical standard — learning a substantial repertoire each month in preparation for Sunday services. Choral Scholars receive a stipend in recognition of their dedication and work.

This year’s Choral Scholars are Aria Bonski Evans, soprano, and Arturo Cabrera, baritone.

Junior Choristers
Youth ages 9–14 are warmly invited to participate in our liturgy as Junior Choristers. In a joyful and supportive environment, Choristers explore the rich components of our musical liturgy and hymnal while receiving vocal instruction alongside their peers. High School Choral Scholars serve as vocal mentors during rehearsals, creating a meaningful connection within our music ministry. Junior Choristers rehearse on a rolling basis in preparation for special services throughout the year.
