Through our outreach, we respond to urgent and ongoing needs in Santa Barbara—particularly among the unhoused, the food insecure, the elderly, and vulnerable children and youth.
We strive to make a tangible difference through two complementary approaches:
Providing meaningful financial support to trusted nonprofit partners
Engaging parishioners in hands-on service that directly supports those in need
This combination of giving and participation is central to our mission.
Transition House
Serve dinner once a month to families experiencing homelessness at the emergency shelter. Volunteers prepare, serve, and share a meal with residents.
Prepare lunches between Sunday services once a month for residents to take to work, school, and daily activities. Learn more
Cleveland School Support
Volunteer opportunities rotate throughout the year based on the school’s current needs, including food distribution, tutoring, classroom help and other support for students and families.
Carpinteria Lunch Bunch
Join a weekly, intergenerational team distributing fresh food and staples to unhoused individuals and families
La Posada/Dignity Moves (housing support)
Outfit new living units for unhoused residents.
Habitat for Humanity
Participate in periodic build days supporting affordable housing in our community.
