Volunteer Opportunities at St. Mike’s

Once a year UCSB students and Isla Vista residents organize a gigantic yard sale of donated clothing, furniture, household goods, kitchenware, toys, sports equipment, electronics, and books (and much, much more). This year the sale will take place on Saturday and Sunday, June 21 and 22 at Embarcadero Hall in Isla Vista.  Volunteers are needed to help organize and sort donations during the preceding week (June 11 to 20) and help staff the sale. Net proceeds of the event are divided among participating I.V. churches and nonprofits according to number of volunteer hours donated.  All Saints volunteers will have their donated hours counted towards the total for St. Michael’s Episcopal Campus Ministry at UCSB.
