The Abundant Table Announces First-Ever Summer Camp Sessions

The Abundant Table, a ministry based in Santa Paula, has announced that it will offer “Alive: Eco-Faith and Farm Summer Day Camp” in two sessions this summer. The farm and garden-based program will engage campers ages 6 years to 12 years “in connecting farm-based learning experiences with Christian faith to feel fully alive in the tradition of relationship and love of self, community, Earth, place, and God.” Learning and activity themes of soil science, watersheds, eco-systems, botany, local food systems, and healthy eating will be woven together with biblical teachings and reflection.

The first session will be held Monday – Friday, July 25-29 at The Abundant Table Farm in Camarillo. The second session will be Monday – Friday, August 8-12 at Community Roots Garden in Oxnard.
