Easter Sunday 2014

All the music. All the pageantry.  All the joy.  During our Easter Sunday celebrations nothing was held back as we welcomed Jesus’ resurrection in full voice.   In addition to a festive Holy Eucharist at both 8 and 10 a.m., we also be celebrated the Holy Baptism at our 10 a.m. service, welcoming our newest Christian into the resurrected life.

If you would like to read through the service bulletin, just click here.  All Saints also produced a special edition of our weekly parish newsletter, Read All About It on Sunday, which you can peruse by clicking here.

Father Bob’s sermon touched on the hope found in our resurrected life.  You can listen to his sermon by clicking on the link below.

We enjoyed glorious music from the All Saints Choir, guest harpist, Laurie Rasmussen, and the Westmont Brass Ensemble.  You can get just a taste of the musical talent on display by clicking below to hear Laurie Rasmussen’s communion piece.

Here are a few photos that highlight this glorious day in our parish – just click on any photo to enlarge it.  You can see an entire album of Easter service photos by clicking here.

An Easter Egg Hunt for children followed the 10 a.m. service.  Organized by Sunday School parents and our older children volunteers, eggs and candy were placed throughout the Parish School yard and at the precise time, all the youngsters of the parish were off and hunting.  More photos can be found here.

And in a first for All Saints, we held an Easter Brunch on campus to great success.  More than 30 members of the parish, their family and friends spent time in fellowship over a traditional Easter feast.
