Extensive information was shared noting the advantages/disadvantages of the three remaining options for where we will worship during the roughly 20 or so months that the Sanctuary will be closed for reconstruction. The three options include: the Parish Hall, a pre-fabricated building on the church parking lot (known as a “Burke” building in reference to the manufacturer), or at Cleveland Elementary School. There was considerable reaction and feedback regarding the renderings shown at the last Town Hall in October 2016 of what we would see looking at the altar area once the work is complete. Much of the feedback had to do with three things: the metal cross now on the high altar (where is it?), the candelabras (where are they?), and the organist’s head (can we get rid of it?).

An update was provided about the status of the work between the Church and the Parish School to address concerns regarding the impact of Sanctuary construction on Parish School children.
