Many people have asked how they can help. All Saints-by-the-Sea is collecting funds to give to those in need affected by the mudslide. Click on this link and designate your donation to “Outreach” and write “Mudslide relief” in the comments. Or designate your gift “General” to help offset significant lost revenue the church will have experienced during the fire and mudslide evacuations.
There are many people who are not wealthy or resourced who live in Montecito and who were devastated by the mudslide; many other service workers who have been without income as their work places are closed or destroyed; still others whose insurance is insufficient; and others who will need to access mental health care who cannot afford it. There are so many needs.
In times like this it is good to be the church, to be present with people in their pain, to bring relief to suffering, to be light in the darkness. You can be that too, even from far away. Give here and help All Saints deliver help and hope to those in need affected by the mudslide.
