A Prayer for Creation – Our Community Responds Prayerfully to the Refugio Oil Spill

The community gathered together at All Saints-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church to respond prayerfully to the Refugio oil spill. Native American flute music and nature’s song from the sea through a conch shell lifted the group’s prayers.

 

A special nature altar was prepared as a reminder of the bounty of God’s resources and prayers were offered for the right use of “this fragile earth, our island home.” Click here to listen to the service including the beautiful and peaceful flute music.
